It was actually Tycho mentioning (for the second time) how much he liked Guild Wars that got me interested in the first place. One of my friends recently commented that it would be interesting for GW to take a poll and find out how many current players are playing because of Tycho. I think there's a decent chance that his news posts are the best advertising out there for the game.
