Die Fledermaus is one of The Tick's pals (the name is a play on the opera and on Batman). While he means well, he's not terribly devoted to his job and tends to... let's say not be around when danger strikes. Next you'll ask who The Tick is, so perhaps I should come out with it: The Tick is blue, weighs several hundred pounds (pure muscle), and DOES NOT have 8 legs. He's the star of an extremely funny comic book series and an equally funny but now-defunct cartoon series (both titled apropriately enough, "The Tick"). The Tick is basically a super-hero parody.

Of course, Sewer Urchin is cooler than Die Fledermaus, but if Darien likes the wussiest (including Arthur) member of the group, so be it...
