And this, ladies and gentlemen, is one reason why I think it's neat that I saw III before any other Star Wars movie.* I noticed some of the same things Lirelyn talked about. (My specific thought was "Hm, seems like the actors did a pretty good job with the lines they were given...") It's almost like this suff was written because it had to be in order to complete the series, and not because someone took great joy in it.**

Even though I did have some background info before seeing the movie, coming into things rather in the middle meant that I wasn't always able to follow the details of the plot. But it also meant that everything I saw was new, and fresh, and exciting to me.
