I was looking through this cruise stuff and ran across "Icy Strait." It's one of our stops. Is that a town, or a body of water?

Hawaiians have a tendency to add "town" to the name of a city or town. For example, "I'm going over to Honolulu town." Maybe Alaskanians need to adopt that practice.
