MV level 7 - can it be rendered unwinnable?

I think I've just done something foolish on MV level 7. After a period of repeatedly dying in the large room early on, I hurried through it without clearing it, thinking I could come back later on with some friends. Now I believe I know how to get back in there, but if I did, I don't believe I could get out again. So my questions are:

1. Is it likely that I've already ruined the level (by making it impossible to earn enough to pay the troll)?

2. Is it theoretically possible to get trapped on that level?
