I bought some perenniel poppie seeds and planted them. But the second season they didn't come up so I went back to the garden store and asked them what could have gone wrong.

"Was that the only thing you planted?" the lady asked.

"Yes," I said. "Just poppies."

"Well, that's your problem. You planted poppies but no mommies."
