Exactly. Not only does the radio version differ from the books, but the computer game, TV series, stage plays, and record albums are all individually different in plot as well. Not to mention that Adams said that even the separate books in the collection were apt to contradict each other.

Eh, but they didn't include the whole poem, so I don't think it would have been as much fun. Understandable that they couldn't fit in every fun quote, but I was pleased at the other bits they included more exactly. (I'm thinking specifically of a lot of parts from the Guide.)
