I just found the game, and I've only been trying it for a very short while, but my immediate impression is exactly the same. I can't see how to progress without being chopped to bits.


> I'm going to sleep now, but the first imppression is simply that is it confusingly difficult at the beginning (as in, not "Wow! This will be my greatest challenge yet!" difficult, more like "How am I supposed to do anything here?" difficult) All the paths are quicly blocked with actual parties (a random one too strong to be defeated by a completely fresh Murkon or RyaCAMs) while Murkon's hitting 1 hitpoint less than half his hits, while being paralyzed with fear the rest of the time.
