The real fun of Jelly Bellies comes, though, when you realize that the flavors are accurate enough to allow you to mix and match the same way you would in real life. For example, while the peanut butter Jelly Belly is pretty nasty by itself, if you eat it with a grape or strawberry it tastes just like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. You can make all kinds of recipes. It really works; at my old job at the Peanut Shop of Williamsburg we had bulk jars of Jelly Bellies, so during slow times (there were many, many slow times) we would experiment with new concotions. Yum yum.
