I was checking out the Rinkipedia, and I stumbled upon the "15/f/(someplace ridiculous)" in-joke. Oddly enough, I was involved in the independent creation of the exact same joke in Yahoo! chat.
I was in Yahoo!'s Simpsons:1 room along with shortstuff_roonie (a.k.a. commie_sheep) when some kid came in claiming to be 15/m/Calgary and looking for girls. We both replied that we were 15/f/Calgary, which the kid bought despite the content of our profiles, and the joke stuck.
I mean really, who expects to find two 15/f from his not-all-that-big hometown in a 15-person non-regional-themed chat room accessible to the entire world?
Roonie was from "MN", which I pretended stood for "Manitoba" just to annoy her. Thus, "15/f/Calgary, Manitoba" was born and remained a running joke for some time and a knee-jerk response to any as***l* who happened to poke his head in the room looking for a date.
