One great use for this forum, as Sam is demonstrating, is to add greater depth to an issue that was raised in a chat room. Threads come and go so quickly in chat rooms that you don't really get a chance to post a well-considered or detailed reply. The Forum is the perfect chance to give a fleeting but interesting subject its due.

Now, I haven't been to RinkChat, but it seems some of you are regulars over there. If ever you want to "get something started" by getting something continued, I'm all for that.
