I'm not sure, but I think there is a good argument for the metric system in there.

Sometimes I wonder how long it will be before the whole world uses the same units of measure, the same money, and the same language. I know it's coming, but how long is anybody's guess.

We took a shot at metric measure a couple of dedades back and Americans wouldn't let it happen.

I wish we could agree to all drive on the same side of the road.

Further in the future, I think the earth will have only one race. That would solve a lot of problems, but it will take a bunch of generations before we all reach the same shade of tan.
