Early Years Gold Rush desperatly need help finding potion

I have 166 moves left. I cannot get into the wine cellar. I have no idea what the password is for but I have figured out the rest of the letter. I have everything except the potion. I am in the hallway with the microphone in the wall. This is my fourth time playing the game and I really hope it will be my last. I don't want to waste moves going away from the potion and I have no clue where to go or what to do next. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
