When I was in my high school library, I saw a book called "Dating, a guide to healthy relationships" or something like that. It had helpful advice such as "Before you ask somebody out, make sure your teeth are brushed and you have bathed recently" and "Many teens feel strong attractions to members of their same sex. This doesn't mean you're gay." It was written in very basic English (See Jane. See Spot. Spot likes Jane. Spot brushes his teeth. Spot asks Jane out. Jane feels strong attraction for Jill) and all of the example scenarios were of people in middle school, leading me to believe it was written for middle schoolers. Middle school dating is either funny or sad. Two kids at the beginning of puberty taking advantage of their mutual need for acceptance to tounge wrestle. Add to that most of the population of the middle school engaging in this sort of thing. Add to that this: the people outside of this pathetic relationship desparately want to get inside one. Middle schoolers are lame.
