There is a lot of crap in blogs that I am glad to see moved out of this forum -- particularly very personal, emotional writings that are diary entries -- but there is also more interesting general interest commentary that the forum misses out on. Wintermute's recent post in his journal about his first experience at a baseball game was funny and insightful; it would have been appropriate for this forum. > > Stephen
The blog is my biggest problem, I think. I'm happy to be able to log my personal stuff somewhere other than the forum. But the other forum-OK things I'm not so sure what to do with.
The problem is the people that read both the forum AND my blog. Do I post to both? And what if I want to cross-reference the replies? Opinions on this are very welcome, because I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
