My advice is to draw a map. Here is some advice on map drawing I gave in another post, which I'll just copy here:

Just draw two rows of six circles, side by side. Draw horizontal and vertical lines between adjacent circles, bearing in mind that the circles on the row edges connect on each end. Number the pods as in the game and cross out the lines that are broken, then arrange the remaing junctions as in the guidelines given by Johnson. Then just go around the circuit turning all plates as to your map.
