Okay. You may have noticed I've been posting more than usual this week. Around here, we describe it as "feverishly." And the soda question? Part of the plot.

Call me nutty (again), but I'm incredibly superstitious and incredibly obsessive. Add that up and you get I HAD to have the 8,888th post. I took whatever measures I could without actually stating it (knowing that certain of you, whose initials might or might not be DARIEN DREAMWEAVER, might have tried to foil my plans).

Think what you will (feel sorry for me if you must) but I accomplished it. And I feel good about it.
