Heh. The talk with the dad shouldn't be so bad (assuming he already approves of you as a boyfriend). It's the ceremony you have to worry about. My dad's a minister, and he married me and my husband. Midway through his message he paused and said to my husband, "And if you ever do anything to hurt her, her brothers [one is a 6'4" ex-army cop] and I will take you for a ride." Hah! Hah! Funny, dad. It's hilarious now, but boy oh boy... Anyway, good luck. A good marriage is an amazing thing.
