Surprises

I just ate a pink navel orange. Like a normal navel orange, it had no seeds, but it was pinkish inside and sweeter. It was as if the pink taste in pink lemonaid had been put inside an orange. It was juicy and tasted wonderful to me; I thought that it was perfect.
When I bought it, I didn't look at the sign. I was expecting a regular navel orange, which is a fruit that does not particularly excite me. I got this surprisingly incredible fruit instead.
It reminds me of the time when I had first arrived in England. My group had just left the airport and piled into in a bus that took us to the church we'd be staying in. The people from the church who had met us passed out a bit of food. I was sitting toward the back and couldn't hear quite clearly, so I was expecting some sort of cracker. What I received instead was a Penguin bar - a delightful chocolate cookie with chocolate cream inside.
I can't say for sure, but I bet memories like these will stick with me for a long time.
