Clown's red nose: That's a LOT farther on in the game, don't worry about it now.
Roc feather: Already covered that.
Pliers (how to get the nail out): Oh, this is SUCH a fun series of puzzles to go through. From your inventory, it appears you already gave the mermaid her mirror. But she's still not happy, is she? If I remember correctly, you need to search through the remains of a garage you just trashed...
