FQ1 arg gave dagger to guard cant find dollar or escape volcano!

Fishing Pole

Gold Piece
Silver Key
Hammer

Sunstone

Carrot
Gold Key
Nails
Ticket

Rope
Sword
Bow
Winter Coat

Hook
Shovel
Arrow
Pass Ring
I am in the northern fortress by the volcano and see that i need to find a dollar bill but can't. Also, when i went to the castle, i gave the guardian the dagger which i am not supposed to do (?) i'm totally stuck and need to get the oil from the store guy, etc! The volcano won't let me out and i can't go farther down either so all I can do is go into the fortress!PLEASE HELP!
