Fantasy Quest Castle

So how many castles/fortresses are there? According to the jpeg map someone posted, there's the fortress near the volcano and a castle between the highlands and the garden maze. Is that castle the same as the white tower that's NW of the tangle of bushes? If so how do I get to it? If it's the white tower no need to reply as I've been there...a couple of times.
Thanks because at this point I'm just going around in circles and I'm really stuck.
