To get farther in the game, you need to play soccer. I see you have the gym shorts. You need a T-shirt and tennis shoes. Go back to the health center, and try to figure out how to get beyond the waiting room. You can leave the nerds alone for now. Later in the game you'll get another quarter and be able to call your brother. As for the bus, you won't be able to access it until it's Sunday in the game. If you haven't been to the auditorium, go there now. There's something in there that you'll need later. Ditto for the gymnasium. I would go to the gymnasium first, then the auditorium, then the health center, since that one takes the longest.
