Fantasy Quest 2nd time in fortress

I entered through the volcano for the second time and did not oil the drawbridge. I found the 6th gold piece but since the balcony is collapsed I can't get out. How do I get to thje drawbridge from inside? The pitch black room is probably where it is but I keep walking into walls so now what?
