A Giant White Fluffy Marshmallow
A Golden Key
A Mountain Climbers' Pick

Ok. I've been to the pit a number of times, explored areas with and without the pick and am still struggling. I can't find a sword and I can't work out a way into the room with the handkerchief. All hints, tips, spoilers very gratefully accepted.
