Well, I have finally made it to the 21st century. Some time tomorrow I expect our new DSL to be installed. We are also getting satellite TV. This is all part of a package that includes some extra telephone services and even a discount on the cell phone. I'm sure you have heard of bundling. It is the only thing that makes sense. My wife can now make calls while I am computing and she can call anywhere in the USA without additional charges. I think we even get caller ID. That would have been nice back when I was teaching. I will even have a new email address, the first change since we went online.

All of this is at considerable savings over what we were paying for the old piecemeal mess.

Enough good news. I have the flu.
