What do you do?

Sometimes a small act of kindness to honor the memory of your friend can be very healing. For instance, donating a copy of her favorite book to your local library, if she was a book lover, or donating an afternoon of your time to the rescue shelter, if she was an animal lover--that sort of thing. On a daily basis, just do "the next thing", whatever that is--going to school, going to work, putting one foot in front of the other to get through the day.

How do you act?

*Act* in a way that would honor your friend's memory. *Feel* any way you want to--sad, angry, confused, shocked, happy that you were friends --whatever applies.


What happens now?

Just remember you're not alone. Family and friends are there to comfort you, and for you to comfort in return.
