My Inventory:

14 dollars
your gun
matches
wood
hannibal
altar cloth
hat pin
feather
water
jerky
powder
beer
cabbage

I've woken up the man in the wagon and asked for his playing cards, he offers them to me but they don't go into my inventory. i've tried to join the poker game and to buy the saloon girl a drink but can't do either. can't rent a room at the boarding house. any hints as to what to do next are greatly appreciated.
