Not sure if you've gotten that far in the mine, but you know where the cart rail goes across that chasm to the south? Once you've cleared the chasm, you're forced to jump off in an area where there's a pipe, some stalagmites and (I think) a nanoxite stone.

The trick here is to cut across the stalagmite area and hop back ON the cart again. You may need to come down there twice, because you'll need to clear out the stalagmites your first time there.

That's as specific as I can get; my notebook with the scrawled POA maps is at home. :)
