FQ1 help needed

I'm not sure what to do now. I haven't gone past the cat or the sprite, and I haven't even MET the orc mentioned in the hints section.
Heres a list of my items in alphabetical order. I put stuff in brackets after certain items to clarify their use, and to remind people if they haven't played this game in a while.

Branch
Club
Fishing Pole
Gold Key
Hammer
Hook
Leaves (the yuckyuck kind)
Magic Stone (The one that pulls stuff to you)
Nails
Rope
Sack
Shovel
Silver Key
Sunstone
Sword (I like swords)
Ticket
Well, thats all I got. I just need a hint about what to do next, or just where to go, preferably better than the "hints" given to you.
I'm here because the hints given didn't help, ok?
