I read so few books anyway, choosing rather to read the same ones over and over, but perhaps I'll try this series rather than reading a Jane Austen book for the 10th time. I thought the movie and the computer game versions of the book looked fun, too! :)

Although I think that there's nothing wrong with reading an Austen book for the tenth (or twentieth) time, if you are looking for something else to read, you might enjoy The Jane Austen Book Club, by Karen Joy Fowler. I got it for Christmas, and am reading it as fast as I can. She writes very well. It's making me re-evaluate some of my thoughts about Austen's work, because she presents different viewpoints of all of the novels. And the way in which her characters read the books, each being drawn to different things because of their own personal experiences, is really fascinating.
