I woke up this morning in a warm bed. There was food in the house and clean water. Outside, it was quiet, and the air was clean. I saw no advancing waves, no rumbling tanks, no explosives going off, do debris, no flooding, no howling wind. The earth was still. My family was just fine. My neighbors were going about their daily business. Even the weather was nice for January. Just lucky, I guess.
