I just (finally) finished the conduit job, and my best piece of advice is to physically drive your ship along the circut that you will make. For example, if you hook a router up pointing north and outside, drive north. In order for this junction to connect to the circut, it will need to point south. Talk to the Engineering Office person for the exact placement that you need, reread his instructions 3 or 4 times (especially the end part) and it will hopefully becoome clear.
remember: broken conduits are bad for your health
