I've been to all of the places you mentioned and I'd have to say they are all good choices, because they include so much beautiful scenery. And a lot of real fun places, too.
Some people underrate Florida, because they didn't go far enough. It gets better and better as you travel south. Some of the most beautiful areas are down in what I call Spanish Florida and the Keys are the cherry on the sundae. The East Coast has the best beaches.
I have talked to people who were unimpressed by Florida. Usually, they have only been to Orlando and have missed most of the natural beauty of the state.
Tampa Bay is breath-taking, and highway A1A follows the barrier islands down the east coast. The middle part of A1A is best, along about Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and Jensen. I also like the Lake Okeechobee area and the Everglades. Howard
