The first thing that came to my mind was, "Wow, God blessed the heck out of me."

The single event that stands out most was meeting some incredible Scouting people during the summer. Then there's being told I was getting a horse. The frustration of being dropped from my fall semester classes due to the school's administration goofing and then getting yelled at by said administration because I wasn't content with their promise to "see what we can do about it." Spending my first real time away from home with the equestrian team in Idaho--chicken-fighting with one of the girls, Wal-mart shopping cart races, and Uncle Fester. Getting hit on by a non-scary guy for the first time later in the year ;-). Various extraordinarily cool (I think) Boy Scout stuff I won't ramble on about here. Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities caused by said cool stuff. Looking forward with anticipation to 2005.
