Yep, that's me. A big, bad soprano. w00t!

See, I've been singing alto all my life. Probably because back in the first choir or chorus I was involved in, they told anyone who could read music to sing alto. So I was stuck there for years and years and years.

But it turns out that this year we have lost our strongest soprano in the church choir, and since I've always wanted a chance to prove I could sing those high notes too, and since we have a couple other strong altos, I switched parts. And frankly, I've been having a lot of fun singing way up high.

So to commemorate this exciting devolpment, for our Christmas Eve service this year little ole alto Mina sang "O Holy Night" and got herself all the way up to a high G. Which is not all that high for real sopranos, but for people like me who are just pretending, it's a heck of an accomplishment.

And the best part? People said I sounded *good.*
