Busy time

It's a busy time of the year. Hardly anybody I know is ready for Christmas. That's normal, I guess. It seems like last Christmas was just a few weeks ago. Maybe we could perk up the economy by actually having Christmas ever six weeks or so. I guess all this Christmas busy-ness is the reason for the limited number of posts on this forum. I've notice that only older people like Calvin and me have time for posting.
I think I am actually going to make a New Years Resolution this year. Not the usual stuff about bad habits and waistlines. I'm going to keep a running travel log. I want to see just how much we travel. I'll set up a file in Word and keep a record of out-of-town trips for a year. Not many details, mostly just where and when. I won't include anything less than an hour one way, so going to visit our kids in the next county won't count.
The reason for this is that I have lost track of some of the places we have been this past year. I don't remember how many times we have been to the mountains. I know we went to two scooter meets and two cruises. And there was the Natchez Trace trip last spring, and our regular trips about once a month to Lascassas in Middle Tennessee. I think we went to Myrtle Beach this year. Yes, that's correct. We camped in the tent. None of our trips this year involved air travel. I guess it is just too uncertain and too much trouble. This time next year, I'll know where all we have been.
So enjoy the season and remember all of the good times you've had at Christmas. And make some good memories this year. Howard
