I tried again this year after crashing and burning at about 4k last time round. Managed to knock off 50k and then a placeholder 'deus ex carcrashia' temporary finish without any filler as such, although the plot was going in whichever way seemed like a good idea at the time. Would have finished by the 25th or so if I'd not written every Saturday and Sunday off, too. Certainly no running around in circles barking like dogs, busty lesbian ninja pirate cabbages, dares, fluffy hopping bunnies or random acts of senseless violence required. I didn't even need to do the contractions trick.

I have spent the last nine days celebrating by not doing anything at all except for a few haikus about various aspects of going to the pub.
