Outlaws - please help

OK, I feel like a clueless newbie posting about this again, but my previous post got buried before anyone replied.

Map

I've got the telegram.
I've escaped the burning barn.
I've fed the goats.

Following a hint in another post, I went back and tried every option again with the old lady, but nothing seemed to happen.

Can't talk to the boarder on my left at dinner, and Mr Garston never seems to be in.

Can't leave Lynnville by the north side street, whether it's day or night.

Help???
