It's somewhat funny that I even knew that, as it was a trivia question on Dictionary.com one day after I had looked up something else. And, while I don't love the functionality of the word, it really can't help having both definitions. The prefix "bi" is too ambiguous--especially when applied to a measurement of time.

p.s. It's quite uncommon for me to use smilies anymore, but I felt like that needed to be there to avoid looking like a know-it-all jerk. However, I wonder how I got out of the habit of using them. In times past I used them quite a lot.
