I took ballet and tap for about eight years when I was younger. Then I quit in middle school because I was in band and didn't want to do both. I kind of wish I had stayed with it, though, because now I wish I had more dance training than I do.

A couple of years ago I took an adult ballet class, which was neat, but very basic, beginner stuff.

Then I became good friends with a woman who choreographs for community theatre, and we decided to start an amateur dance group for the "off-season." It wasn't exactly a class, but I learned a lot of jazz and a decent chunk of tap (I had forgotten all of my tap training) plus I got some experience choreographing and teaching, too.

I had a little trouble picking an answer to the poll question, however, because every answer but "No" applies. I eventually decided on "Yes, as an adult" because of the most recent actual class I was enrolled in.
