I made a dumb error on that Reader's Poll question about perscriptions. I checked 8 or 10. Correction: I take 8 or ten pills a day, but they aren't all perscription. I checked with my secretary/care giver/wife/travel agent, and she pointed out that I take some stuff like a multi-vitamin, and a fish oil capsule that the doctor perscribed, but they aren't perscription medicines. You can get them over the counter. I also counted some things that I take twice a day as two perscriptions, when it was just one. The actual total of perscription stuff is more like three. None of this is for diabetes. I am really very healthy, but old coots have to take a lot of maintainence stuff to keep joints and things working normally. I had bad, I mean baaaaad, headaches and stomach problems when I was younger, but that has all gone away. It seems strange to feel better in my 70's than I did in my 30's and 40's, but a lot of stress goes away after the kids are grown and you retire. I hope that gives you something to look forward to.
