I don't know any famous people. The closest it has come is some brushes with a few famous-in-some-circles people. Last year I shook hands with Ravi Zacharias. Peter Jenkins wrote some of his book, A Walk Across America, on our typewriter when he passed through. If vicarious meetings count (I've seen the video plenty of times), my grandfather publicly debated JFK.

There's a much better chance, I hope, that someone whom I currently know will become famous.
