a new wrinkle

I want to put a new wrinkle (sorry) into this sheet discussion. On a recent cruise I found that the top sheet was really giant pillow case with a light blanket inside. It was very comfortable and avoided the problem of being awakened by a scratchy blanket under your chin.

I wish hotels would adopt this inovation, because I haven't slept well in a hotel since I found out that they wash the sheets but not the blankets and bedspreads.

The cruise line was Norwegian, which I sometimes can't spell correctly, so I began to wonder if this was a custom in Norway. But then I realized that very few people on board were from Norway. The crew could best be described as "mulitnational." The ship was built in France, I think, and was registered in the Bahamas. Prices on board were in US dollars. So why would the bed be Norwiegen?
