Well, some of our remote controls use AAAs. Others use AAs, as do our clocks, my digital camera, TI-83 Plus calculator, and Game Boy Advance. (However, because of my Game Boy Player, and the fact that I tend to use my laptop (running on its own special type of battery) when riding in the car, the GBA gets little use.) A couple of the flashlights around here do, too, but more run on Cs and Ds. My keyboard runs on Ds, but I rarely use it, and would rather run it from the wall outlet.

I haven't shopped that way yet, and I don't know what mom does.

None of the above, but I have crossed the Mason-Dixon and the Mississippi River. In a car crossing a bridge, of course.

The Reader Poll page has two questions containing the substring "fish".

The first: a question about readers' favorite kind of fish.

The second: a question comparing various random things to fish.

None relate any closer to the act of fishing than that.

I found these questions by going to the Reader Poll page, Then going into the Edit menu, selecting "Find (on This Page)...", typing "fish" into the box, and clicking "Find Next" until it didn't find any more. I'd say that's a reel good way to do it.
