Thanks, that makes sense. It was in a scooter magazine and it was about a scooter meet. Scooter people believe that really good times roll on a motor scooter. In this case, they are vintage scooters, so the meet will be an extra good time.

But before that happens, I have to replace the carburetor on one scooter, stop gas leaks on two more, find an oil leak on another one, and air up some tires. There is also a regional meet in Georgia before the national meet in Louisana. It's all part of the good times.

Another thing I will be doing over the winter is searching for "barn fresh" Cushmans. You can't beat the thrill of finding an antique motor scooter sitting in a barn where it has been for years. Winter is the best time to look in barns and sheds, because you don't have to worry about snakes and wasps.
