Have *I* ever had a concussion? No, I've always been like this. The truth is, most of us don't know. We started bumping our bean the day we first tried to sit up and the practice continued all through childhood. Indeed, bean bumping often continues all through adulthood and some of those bumps are enough to cause a concussion.
Concussions are like being in love. Sometimes they are minor and sometimes life changing. Sometimes you don't even know what happened, but you feel light-headed, and you may not be completely in control. But you will probably get over it.
The next time you bump your bean, just ask yourself if you have a concussion. If you can't think of an answer, you probably do.
You should check your bean frequently so that you know all of the built in bumps and knots. That way, when you wake up on the floor with a new bump, you will know there is a possibility that you have a concussion. That is assuming that you didn't lie down on the floor for a nap. If you wake up on the floor and don't know anything at all, a concussion is a good possibility. Howard
