I'm glad you posted about it, because I've been constantly talking about it myself since the first of October (or before) and probably would've posted here about if it you didn't. Maybe. It takes a lot of courage to post to a public forum.
Anyway, I think everyone should try WriMo, if only just once. I did it last year and although I didn't meet my goal, it was so much fun that there's no way I'm not going to do it this year, even with an insane schedule. There's no excuse!
The person who started Writing Month (Chris Baty) has a book out this year, called "No Plot? No Problem!". I have it and it's awesome. I recommend reading it if you're thinking of writing at all, let alone joining in on this insane venture. It's funny and encouraging.
