forget the river chase. leave the area and take the platform up tp the top of the volcano. Go down volcano and go east to the soothsayer-south to the grapefruit tree -east one space then north to the troll on the bridge. I tried to figure out that river chase myself when I played the first time. Kept trying and making notes where all the turns were before I finally asked. The writer of this was very devious.
