Let me butt into this conversation with a comment.

Life is easier with a map.

I keep a road map atlas and a geographic atlas handy. When a location pops up on TV or in conversation, or even on RinkWorks, I grab an atlas and find out where it is. I don't think I could watch the news without one. Especially during hurricane season.
